Technology transforms our culture, politics and personal lives, but in a slow and subtle way. In our latest exhibition, titled Generat.ion/s, we consider how today's technology might impact tomorrow. Utilizing traditional and contemporary mediums, we trace a history of innovation and peer into its future through the eyes of today's cultural leaders.
We're excited to invite you to join us for the opening reception of our next show on October 12, 2012 from 7:00 - 10:00 pm at The Family Room.
I realize that we, The Post Family, have not been too active these days on this here blog. It's for a good reason, our personal endeavors have really been taking off! Here is a brief update on our family members:
First off, our sister Ina heads back to Germany today to attend the Bauhaus school. We will miss her so much and wish her all the best! she has been a huge inspiration for all of us over the past few years. You will be seeing much more of her beautiful work in the years to come. I promise.
Scott has been working behind the scenes over at The Noun Project. Expect something new from the project in the very near future! I can't say much more than that, but it's very exciting for all of us to see his project flourish!
Sam has been taking his coworking model to new heights. His Coop space will be growing over the next year and Desktime, the software that manages it all, will be growing like a weed as well! After that he will probably take over the world. No biggie.
David has been hard at work starting his own design studio, Another Studio. I don't think he has slept this year. All for not! His work is amazing and inspires us all.
Davey will soon be opening the doors of his awesome new grocery store called, Plenty. Organic, local, vegan, gluten-free, you name it, he's got it covered! You're welcome, Chicago.
Chad just finished a beautiful new book for Studio Gang with his lovely lady, Margot Harrington. We all had the pleasure of flipping through the publication this past friday at the Modern Wing opening.
Rod has been helping build a super sharp design group at Ogilvy. Rod and I love our agency worlds! He also continues to make a mess in the studio while sharpening his wood-working skills.
As for the Family, we have a great new show coming up this Fall and are currently building larger plans for the future! Stay tuned!
