The Art & Design from the Campaign for Change
Scott launched his first book today with the help of The Post Family. The book is called Designing Obama and it's a chronicle of the art from the campaign, of which Scott was the design director. Opposed to going the conventional publishing route we've decided to publish, promote and print it ourselves. We are funding it (in a similar manner as the campaign) through Kickstarter. The book was beautifully designed in our very own studio.
The site is up at http://www.designing-obama.com. Take a look, support us and please tell your friends, family and loved ones. We are trying to change the way publishing works by maintaining the quality and control we need to make a book we are proud of.
Thanks in advance for always supporting us!

Glitch: Designing Imperfections
A book on Glitch Art and Design Aesthetics
I've always been a fan of happy accidents. Most of my work is chocked full of them. Check out the new book Glitch: Designing Imperfections. They even have a promote page and a pre-order link. On top of being a cool concept for a book this is a pretty nice way to display and promote it. And the publisher (Mark Batty Publisher) looks pretty on point too.

Firework Drawings
"These large works on paper are made by exploding and containing live fireworks, resulting in bursts of saturated color that are overlapped and collaged into abstract compositions." - Rosemarie Fiore

Music Mondays
Since I woke up before Chad who usually handles our Music Monday posts I thought I'd let everyone know about ListenListen from Houston, Texas. Their swooning strings and horns mixed with a folk sensibility will leave you feeling... feeling what? well, just ListenListen and find out.
Their new album, Hymns From Rhodesia will be released on September 22nd, and a Daytrotter session should be available soon as well.
